Piano Class
In this class, the student will not only learn the basics of the piano including scales, chords & finger exercises, but also how to play famous classical piano pieces and their favourite pop songs.
Art Class
We provide flexible art lessons for kids with emphasis on African arts. Your kid will be taught the technical skills of dessin, acrylic paint, watercolors, clay, paper crafts and many more!
Japanese Language
In class, your child will be provided with plenty of opportunities to practise his/her language skills through a wide range of interesting exercises, interactive activities using anime, and role-plays.
KiSwahili Class
KiSwahili is one of the widely spoken languages in East Africa. Reach out to arrange one-on-one classes with an experienced teacher. Children are also welcome to do a trial class before committing to learning the language.
Swimming Class
Our swimming classes cater to children of all levels. Through different activities, we help your child develop confidence and enjoyment in the water.
English Class
Join our one-on-one English session! Our classes are designed to suit your kids’ needs for every day use of English.
Basketball Class
The course places an emphasis on the skills & strategy development needed for playing basketball. The student will learn different techniques of dribbling, shooting & passing balls.
Coding Class
We have a wide variety of coding classes. The main objective is to aid your child in gaining confidence in basic coding and programming skills. Your child will start by learning Scratch, Python and Web designing.
ChiShona Language
ChiShona is a Bantu language of the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Through learning the language children will get a glimpse of the Shona culture.
Igbo Language
Igbo Language is the principal native language of the Igbo people, an ethnic group from eastern Nigeria. Your child will start by learning the Igbo alphabet, the tones & vowels, and basic vocabulary needed for daily conversations!
Yoruba Language
Yoruba is a language spoken in West Africa, most prominently in south-western Nigeria. Yoruba vocabulary is also used in the Afro-Brazilian religion known as Candomblé. Learning this language will be made easier through songs as it is a language that is currently dominating Afro-beats music.
ChiChewa Language
Chewa is a Bantu language spoken in much of southern, south-eastern and eastern Africa, namely in countries like Malawi and Zambia.
Cantonese Language
To develop confidence and interest in learning Cantonese, we use different methods such as role-plays, games, songs, etc. Moreover, your kid will have plenty of opportunities to practice their Cantonese speaking skills.
Mandarin Language
Mandarin is the language spoken by the most number of people in the world today. Learn Mandarin at the Center’s private class. In this way the language can be learnt efficiently and effectively.
African Drumming
Let’s learn to play an African drum; djembe! The Djembe originates from west Africa. In this African Drumming private class, your child will have a chance to learn the basics of the drumming while developing a sense of rhythm!
African Literature Book Club for Kids
In weekly meeting of the book club, children will be able to explore the vastness of African literature and travel to different African communities through books. This club will enhance their understanding of African cultures, histories and achievements in a fun and engaging manner.
English Debate Class (P2 – P6 level)
Through our debate program, children learn to develop their confidence, structure their thoughts and develop polished communication skills. Each class follows a carefully structured curriculum that incorporates critical thinking skills, current affairs and literature. Your child will get a chance to compete with other students at the center and also in public/open debate competitions in Hong Kong(in person) and around the globe(virtually). This class occurs every Saturday from 4pm – 5:30pm for Primary levels 2 to 6.
Calligraphy
Chinese/ Japanese Calligraphy is a form of art commonly practiced in East Asia. Let’s learn the skills to write the words beautifully and the manners that comes with it!
