Unleash your inner artist and feel the pulse of the continent!
Kick off Easter Camp with a high-energy immersion into the soulful world of African performance. Day 1 is all about expression, movement, and the power of the voice. We are moving beyond the basics to explore how rhythm and storytelling connect us all. Whether your child is a born performer or a shy observer, this supportive environment will have them moving to the beat in no time.
Event Highlights:
- African Drumming: Learn the language of the Djembe! Participants will master traditional rhythms and learn how to “speak” through percussion.
- Afrobeats Dance Session: Get moving to the latest global hits. We break down popular steps in a fun, cardio-friendly workshop that celebrates modern African pop culture.
- Griot’s Story Telling: Sit by the “fire” as we dive into the ancient oral traditions of West Africa, weaving tales of heroes, tricksters, and history.
- Drama & Acting Workshop: Bring African folklore to life through character building and improvisation exercises.
